La Patrona (The Patron Saint)

I painted this piece for the 30th annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit at the Bath House Cultural Center in Dallas. It also appears in the Inspired by Frida issue of Bad Influence. It was the first painting on canvas I’d done in about 40 years.
